Logopak makes the best use of technology in every process from design, to sourcing, to assembly, to installation to ongoing support. As technology evolves, so does Logopak, adapting and adopting the latest reliable technologies into its products and services. From incorporating the latest microprocessor design into our control software, to the use of advanced pneumatic connectors, to installing print plates with the latest ceramic technology, Logopak offers the best engineering and materials in the industry to meet the needs of the job. Sometimes, the old tried-and-true methods work best -- like all-steel enclosures and 10mm ground aluminum plates for sturdy, durable machine bodies.

Hardware

Our hardware is designed to be a work horse in industrial applications. All standard components have been developed with the aid of state-of-the-art CAD systems and are modular in design. Components are manufactured on high-performance CNC machine tools. Even welding, sheet metal forming and paint work are carried out by highly qualified Logopak employees.

Both the development and production of all PCBs and the manufacture of controls are carried out in-house. Specially trained engineers and technicians ensure strict quality controls and compliance with CE standards.

Machine frames are constructed in 10mm thick ground aluminum; all other parts are made from stainless steel, with all drive parts ground and tempered. Logopak uses nothing but known and reliable Berger Lahr motors, Festo pneumatic fittings and Sick scanners. Logopak uses only bearings, never bushings. No plastic parts are used where more reliable steel and aluminum parts could be used. All cabinets are constructed of welded steel for durability over the long haul.

Software

Whether the operating system is DOS, OS/2, Windows or OS/9, the Logopak software team always has the respective engineering expertise at their fingertips. A team of 15 engineers works continuously on the development and enhancement of firmware and customized application software for our systems. In this way we can ensure that machine and software are completely compatible.

LogoSoft™

LogoSoft is a suite of data management applications for use with labelers and higher-level host systems. Extensively tested and practically proven, these software applications form an integral part of a Logopak system solution and are not sold separately.

LogoTools™

System control at the click of a mouse! For more than 15 years, Logopak has been developing customized PC software solutions for the all kinds of system operation and maintenance applications with labelers and higher-level host systems. If a customer desires, these packages can be added after installation to enhance the capability of an existing system.

PowerLEAP System

At the heart of every Logopak installation is the PowerLEAP system. This is the machine control software and hardware that makes Logopak systems unique and the most powerful on the market today. Here are a few of the highlights, all housed in an IP54 painted steel or stainless steel control box.

• Control Box with large 15” touch screen for display of machine functions, FIFO content, built-in service interval counter, manual data entry and display of current layout being printed. Five levels of password control.

• Dual 32-bit RISC processors with 400 mHz clock speed

• 4 Mb battery-backed CMOS memory for layouts, logos and system settings; expandable with Compact Flash memory card

• Logging of errors and error analysis

• RFID Tag-on-Demand: prepared for future data handling with an integrated read/write antenna, for EPC Class 1 Gen2 Transponders

• Permanent dot checking of print plate to ensure excellent print results every print

• Easy connection to remote service facilities through the Logopak Control Center

• Constant supervision of mechanical operation and potential-free contacts to external systems such as conveyors.
