Label Applicator Options

B Applicator – Blow on.  Blow applicator for high-speed non-contact application.  Used in traded unit applications of 50+ per minute applications where the product cannot be stopped.  Accuracy +/- 3mm depending on distance from substrate.  Maximum distance to substrate – 15mm.  Can be use with any Logopak case labeling system.

F Applicator – Front application.  Blow applicator for non-contact application of labels to the front or rear of products as they pass through the labeling process.  Variable length carbon fiber arm allows for fast, long reaches.  Can be used with any Logopak case labeling system.

M Applicator - Momentum application.  Contact applicator used where the substrate is rounded, uneven or not flat.  Label is dispensed into contact with the product and a foam covered arm tamps down the label for secure application.  The momentum of the product is used to dispense the label onto the product.  Used only in the batch labeling of bulk sack items, pails with curved sides and extruded products.

T Applicator – Telescopic arm application.  Contact applicator receives a dispensed label and brings the label into direct contact with the stationary product.  Used in lower volume mail order applications, single-sided pallet labeling and keg labeling.

TB Applicator – Telescopic arm/blow application.  Non-contact applicator that receives the dispensed label, brings the label close to the moving product and then blows the label on to the product.  This is ideal for higher speed applications where the product cannot be stopped.  This can be from the top, side or bottom.

TE Applicator – Telescopic edge application.  Contact applicator for “around the corner” application of labels.  The label is dispensed onto the face of the applicator and brought into direct contact with the stationary product.  A second telescopic arm then tamps the rest of the label onto the front edge of the product.

TM Applicator – Telescopic, momentum application.  Contact applicator used where the substrate is rounded, uneven or not flat and is a distance from the labeling system.  The contact applicator receives the label and brings the label near to the product.  A second arm advances the leading edge of the label into full contact with the product.  The label is dispensed from the applicator onto the product using the momentum of the product and a foam covered arm tamps down the label for secure application.  Used in the real time labeling of bulk sack items, pails with flat or curved sides and extruded products where the product cannot be brought close to the labeling system.

V90 Applicator – Momentum real time label application.  Contact applicator used in the real time labeling of products on a slow moving line where the product can be brought near the labeling system.  The label is dispensed onto the applicator and a telescopic arm pushes out the leading edge of the label opposite a pivot point into direct contact with the product.  The momentum of the product is used to dispense the label onto the product.  The direction of the dispensing of the label onto the applicator face is 90 degrees to the direction of the dispensing of the label onto the product.

VM Applicator – Momentum real time application. The direction of the dispensing of the label onto the applicator face is in line with the direction of the dispensing of the label onto the product.
